Ethan Goes Out for a Drink

Ethan enters the Rooster and Kitten, after a short walk off the estate. Ethan is pleasantly surprised to see that it is very nice for a pub out in rural England. It's warm in here, but not too warm, and there are a few customers beside yourself in the little place, a few at the bar and a few at tables in the corners. As he walks in, the barman, who is cleaning some mugs behind the bar, notices Ethan and waves him over.



"Hello! Nice to see a new face around here! What can I get for you today, sir?"

Ethan keeps his raised eyebrow to himself as he glances around the pub. Taking in the nicer-than-usual furniture and lighting. His attention is held by the barman when he speaks, and Ethan saunters over to where he's cleaning mugs. "What have you got in the way of dark ales and red meat?" Ethan asked, absently brushing his hands across his pockets to make sure he actually had his billfold without making it obvious which pocket it was in.

The bartender smiles at him. "We've got a very nice steak and potatoes that we can whip up for you very soon, governor, and we've got lots of different types of ales available." He gestures to a menu board behind him on the wall, which lists various types of ales and beers, as well as harder liquor and standard pub food fare. "New to the area, sir?"
